Indigo Denim Cap Lot 5242

The model is a vintage full–brim hat that has been transformed into a baseball cap type.The front had “POW” stenciled on it, the so–called “Daisy May Hat”, which had brim on all sides and was worn by the Army in the early days of World War II. It has been reused and is now shaped like a baseball cap. In this way, the U.S. military’s obsolete uniforms were sometimes reused as clothing for prisoners of war, changing their colors and shapes.
