Master–Piece was founded in 1994 on the concept of “Made in Japan”. This was an era when the idea of developing bags for men was in it’s infancy and it was during this period that Master–Piece established and developed their own identity and personality. In 2008 they made the farsighted decision to build and establish their own manufacturing factory. This has allowed Master–Piece to overcome what many producers in “1st world” face, that of production facilities and skilled labour. Their young apprentices now work along side the skilled “master craftsmen” from previous generations and the knowledge and spirit of “Made in Japan” is preserved and past on for future generations.
